Camp Joy Gardens in Boulder Creek grows food for you to plant in your garden. Here’s an update:
Thank you to all of you who responded to our email and have purchased plants! Also thanks to those new sign ups for our email list or becoming members and pledging your financial support. We are grateful for you helping us to continue doing our work as farmers and stewards of the land. Every little bit helps and we know we are all being stretched at this moment.
We will now be placing plants that are for sale outside our main gate for a self serve plant sale. We will restock as we have mature plants available, the timing for this is as nature sees fit, our greenhouse isn’t heated and we plant with the seasons. We have an honor system for payment set up on the cart. Please be responsible for paying for what you take, cash or check is best.
Also please practice social distancing when needed, being mindful of others stopping by or using the parking lot. And park carefully to respect our neighbors. It’s a heightened time for all.
We won’t be able to have you visit right now and we may not be within earshot to help you make choices. We are working hard to plant our own garden beds. Trust that our plants are healthy, grown in real soil that we mix by hand, and ready for your own garden!
Selling these plants is just one of many things we do and we have limited amounts to pass on, we hope you have success in growing your own food!
