4th of July at Roaring Camp
Take the Redwood Forest Steam Train or the Santa Cruz Beach Train and spend the day in the town of Roaring Camp for family-friendly activities, Chuckwagon BBQ, and live music.
Boulder Creek Fire Department Pancake Breakfast
Friday, July 4 | 7am-12pm. Boulder Creek Volunteer Fire Department, 13230 Highway 9, Boulder Creek. Annual 4th of July fundraiser towards the purchase of new rescue equipment and medical supplies. Pancakes (original, blueberry & chocolate chip), eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, and juice.
Scotts Valley 4th of July Parade and Flyover
Friday, July 4 | Kids Zone 9am-3pm | Parade & Flyover at 11am. Civic Dr. to El Pueblo Dr, Scotts Valley. ADA Parking/Viewing at 5007 Scotts Valley Dr. Food trucks, live music 5060 Scotts Valley Dr. No fireworks this year.
Boulder Creek 4th of July 4th Parade and Street Fair
Friday, July 4 | 10am – 2pm. Downtown Boulder Creek. Highway 9 and Forest Street close at 9am. Detours in place for motorists.
130th Alba Schoolhouse 4th of July Celebration
Friday, July 4 | 11am – 4pm. The Sequoia Retreat Center, 101 Hidden Falls Trl, Ben Lomond.
Follow signs on Alba Rd. Classic American BBQ, live music from Echoes and Artifacts, Nels Andrews, and Joshua Lowe & the Juncos, local history, and family fun set among the redwoods of Ben Lomond Mountain. Proceeds benefit the Alba Schoolhouse rebuild effort post CZU fire.
Native Plant Sale
Friday, July 4 | 12pm – 3pm. Forest Street, Downtown Boulder Creek. Valley Women’s Club sponsors the sale of native plants supporting the work of the Native Habitat Restoration Project. Each purchase contributes directly to the Fred and Roberta McPherson Environmental Education Grant for Teachers and the SLV Teacher’s Art Fund.
