USPS to Close Brookdale Post Office Permanently
USPS wants to close the Brookdale Post Office permanently. Speak up by Sept. 11.
USPS has mailed notices to Brookdale (95007) customers confirming what many suspected: the Postal Service intends to permanently close the Brookdale Post Office because of irreparable damage to the building. Retail services have been suspended there since December 13, 2024, and in-person service will continue at the Boulder Creek Main Office instead.
Before that becomes final, USPS is holding a virtual community meeting as part of its feasibility study. This is your opportunity to ask questions and go on the record.
