Big Basin Water Customer Meeting Nov 2
Big Basin Water customers are invited to attend a November 2 community meeting in Boulder Creek hosted by Supervisor Bruce McPherson and featuring Silver & Wright LLP, the Court-appointed Receiver.
On October 5, Santa Cruz County Superior Court Judge Timothy Volkmann signed an order granting the California Water Resources Control Board’s request to appoint Silver & Wright as Receiver over the Big Basin Water Company’s struggling drinking water system. As Receiver, Silver & Wright is to assume possession and control of the system and work to maintain a reliable supply of water to the utility’s more than 500 customers in compliance with State and local laws.
Silver & Wright LLC will be providing up-to-date information and will be available to answer all of your questions about the status of the system. The meeting will be held at the Boulder Creek Fire Department on Thursday November 2nd from 7:00-8:30 pm. The county would like to reserve the limited space for customers of Big Basin Water. If you are not a customer, or if you cannot attend in person, you are encouraged to join virtually.
