June Commercial Real Estate Update
In Scotts Valley, the ABC Chinese restaurant business for sale in the Mt. Hermon Plaza dropped their price by $100,000 at the end of April: current list price is $99,000. In Felton, a 975 square foot space near Humble Sea Brewing is for lease; the price went up from $2,450 to $2,895 on June 10th after interest was expressed. Boulder Creek has several commercial/business opportunities available: Scopazzi’s Restaurant and buildings are for sale for $3.5 million, the former location of the Mountain Store and a residence are for sale for $995,000, and a medical office building with long term tenants is for sale for $735,000. Still in escrow pending sale is Taqueria Los Amigos – the business only.
There were no closed commercial real estate sales in either Scotts Valley or the San Lorenzo Valley during May, but the 5,000 +/- square foot building at 5000 Scotts Valley Drive sold at the end of April for $1,350,000; asking price was $1,249,000.
