Santa Cruz Mountains nightly howlEntertainment Events

Join the SLV Nightly Howl

Communities throughout the Santa Cruz Mountains are taking a moment to howl into the night sky during the shelter-in-place. The shelter is now extended indefinitely.

Neighbors from Boulder Creek to Felton and beyond gather individually and as families every evening at 8:00 PM to send a soulful message to the Universe. Some honor the health care workers. Some honor the dead. All of us honor each other to combat feelings of isolation and uncertainty in these unsettling times. In the primal still of the forest, as the moon touches the treetops, we howl as one.
