Albert the Peacock Boulder Creek Strong Fundraiser

“A teeny teeny little creek in a deep ravine” provided a natural firebreak that saved Jenny Gosk’s home in Boulder Creek. “When we evacuated I took my iPad and drew the peacock—somebody posted him trotting along in the apocalypse and I used that as a basis. I used the time to not think about whether our house was there, or our neighbor’s house…you just didn’t know.”

100% of the profits for Jenny’s design on stickers go to A S S E R T – The Second Responders to help fund their amazing efforts in support of local wildlife during the wildfires.

“This community is so welcoming, embracing of one another, so warm and supportive. It’s one of the major reasons why I made it through this evacuation. We came out of it with such a sense of strength.”
