Highlands Home Arts Group Shines at Santa Cruz County Fair

The Highlands Home Arts Group, a talented collective of 16 women who meet weekly to create handcrafted treasures, showcased their creativity at the Santa Cruz County Fair in September. Several members entered their crafted works, earning an impressive array of awards that highlight their skill and dedication to the art of quilting, sewing, and fiber arts.

The Highlands Park Senior & Community Center is a community gathering place where members can enjoy music, art, education, social-gatherings and other special events. Our programs are designed to support diverse age groups and appeal to a wide range of interests. 

The 6000 sq. ft. facility has two large meeting rooms, a dedicated art space, a full kitchen and a reception area. The nonprofit is located within Highlands County Park, with access to grassy playing fields, tennis courts, walking trails, picnic areas, and the San Lorenzo River.
