11/5 Artist Pen Pals Reception at lille aeske Arthouse Boulder Creek

Starting in March of 2020, Boulder Creek artist Jennifer Wildermuth Reyes started a project called The Artist Pen Pals. During the early days of the pandemic, instead of letters, she sent out art boards to whomever was willing to collaborate with her on a small art piece. “We would each take turns adding to the piece and mailing it back and forth to one and other until we declared it done,” Wildermuth Reyes said. “This show has 24 completed pieces from that project and represent artist from near and far. My closest pen pals lived in my house (my daughters) and the farthest one made it all the way to Ecuador and back.”
