More Hours at Felton and Scotts Valley Libraries

Starting February 1, getting to your favorite Santa Cruz Public Library branch just got easier.

The library system is rolling out new hours designed to fit busy schedules – including Sunday service at two more locations and later weeknight hours at others.

Sundays are back at Felton and Capitola branches, which will now welcome visitors from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays, joining the Downtown branch in weekend service.

Longer weeknight hours are coming to Aptos and Scotts Valley, both staying open until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Both branches will also be open Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

One small change to note: All 10 library branches will now open at 11:00 a.m. on Fridays to allow staff time for training and system-wide meetings.
