Clampers Install New Safety Fence at Junction Park

Members of E. Clampus Vitus Branciforte Chapter 1797 helped out at Junction Park in Boulder Creek this past winter by putting up a safety fence. “Your efforts in enhancing safety and assisting our community are truly appreciated,” Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District said in a statement. “It’s wonderful to see such dedication to improving our shared spaces. Thank you for making a positive impact!” Upgrades and repairs at Junction Park are ongoing as the District, which is responsible for the park’s operation, prepares this popular picnicking and swimming area for outdoor enthusiasts now that spring is here. BCRPD also maintains Barbara Day Park nearby, and Garrahan Park on Highway 9 in North Boulder Creek.

Junction Park Boulder Creek

Junction Park is located just one block from the main Boulder Creek Rec facility at the intersection of Middleton and Railroad Avenues in downtown Boulder Crek. The park features a beach, easy access to the San Lorenzo River, a grassy area for games and relaxing, and picnic facilities for fun with the family. During the summer the river is a favorite swimming hole for community members and visitors. Dogs are allowed on leash only. Visit the park and learn more about Boulder Creek Rec’s facilities at bcrpd.org/parks.
