Tiger’s Tail Friday Night Summer Series: The Music of Jerry Garcia

The Santa Cruz County Veterans Memorial Building hosts a new Friday night summer series outdoors in the “Mystic Courtyard” featuring Jerry Garcia tribute band Tiger’s Tale.

Based in Santa Cruz, Tiger’s Tale performs in the loving spirit of the Jerry Garcia Band’s later years presenting a wide range of well-known Motown, reggae, R&B, rock and soul covers from the “the Jerry Band” songbook.
Jerry played his “Tiger” guitar with the Jerry Garcia Band from 1979 onward. It was his guitar of choice throughout the ’80s and was the last guitar he played before he died in 1995. What tales would Tiger tell if it were played again? Come hear the Tiger’s Tale band to find out!
