Anthony Arya & Joe Waters Micro Tour

Sun. Sept. 24 at 3pm Bay Area roots-rocker Anthony Arya and Ohio Bluesman Joe Waters join forces after meeting at the Telluride Blues Festival and are embarking on a Bay Area micro tour playing some shows together of their originals and blues tunes.

Anthony Arya is a roots rock performing and recording artist from Santa Cruz, California. At age 15 he was on Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice and shortly after released his debut album, Going To California. His second album The Road, released in Spring 2020, encompasses the Beat-Dylan American traditions of love, socio-political awareness, and the open road. His latest release, Circles & the Flames is receiving airplay nationwide and has earned him awards from the International Song Competition, Bluebird Cafe Taylor Golden Pick Contest as well as the Telluride Blues and Brews Blues Challenge. Anthony performs weekly around the San Francisco Bay Area both solo and with the Anthony Arya Band. In summer 2022, the Anthony Arya band performed on the main stage of Santa Cruz’s well known festivals – Redwood Mountain Faire, Santa Cruz Mountain Jam and Capitola Art and Wine.

Joe Waters is a multitalented musician out of Dayton Ohio who plays Blues, Funk, Folk, and Americana music. Joe is a singer and a songwriter. He writes original music and he also pays homage to original blues artist by singing old blues standards and deep cuts. The new EP, by Joe Waters and The Back Porch Band, shows off Joe’s skills as a musician as well as his skills as a songwriter. Other recent events for Joe Waters include winning the 2022 Telluride Blues Challenge which awarded him a spot on the Durango Blues Train and the opening show of the 2023 Telluride Blues and Brews Festival. Joe Waters is pouring his creative expression into the EP with his band and a Solo Album that he is excited to share with you all! He hopes to have both the EP and Solo Album done by the end of this year and those who have heard this young man are eagerly awaiting his next creation.
