Alba Schoolhouse 129th Annual 4th of July Celebration

Our celebration will feature classic American BBQ, live music and family fun! All set in the beautiful redwoods of Ben Lomond.

The event starts at 11:00am on Thursday, July 4th and will go through 3:00pm at the Sequoia Retreat Center, about 1.5 miles up Alba Road from HWY 9. The Sequoia Retreat Center is located at 11445 Alba Road, Ben Lomond CA 95005.

The Fourth of July celebration is our annual fundraiser, and this year we have something wonderful to celebrate. In June 2024, the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District voted to have the parcel donated to the Alba Community Park District. Now, the creation of a community park is fully in our hands (including the potential rebuild of the schoolhouse).

We are hoping to raise $5,000 at this event, which we will put towards cleanup of the parcel, repairs and hopefully some picnic benches! All donations we receive and fully tax deductible, through the non-profit, Friends of the Alba Schoolhouse.
