The Buffalo Blues Trio plays the Historic Brookdale Lodge on Sunday, May 7 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. The Brookdale BBQ will be cooking up fresh, hot plates.
Celebrating American Roots Blues from the 1920s, 30s and 40s and highlighting female vocalists like Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Big Mama Thornton, Ida Cox, Janis Joplin and more. The Buffalo Blues trio will transport you to another time, sink you down in the muddy blues, and levitate you back to joy again through the power of music and words that describe our common human condition. Everybody gets the blues, and we can all play a part in lifting each other up.
