Last year with the money we raised and with donations from other churches and individuals we hosted a Bonny Doon Love / Beautiful Day of paid tree work and volunteers helping to clean up 8 properties. DESCRIPTION:Veterans Day Benefit for the Ben Lomond Veterans Village in Santa Cruz. Join us on Veterans Day 11/11/2023 at the Veterans Memorial Building for a benefit concert for the Veterans Village of Santa Cruz County. \nJoin us\, for this special benefit concert featuring James Durbin\, Bog Iron\, Rumble Steelskin\, Locomotive Breath\, and the Dylan Rose Band. We will have a raffle and fund games for the adults!\nThis event is 21+ and tickets are only minimum of a $20 donation for presale or minimum donation of $25 at the door. All proceed for this event will go to benefiting the Veterans Village of Santa Cruz County – Homeless Veterans Housing Project. \nWe are committed to envisioning a brighter future for Veterans and their families. As Veterans return from diverse eras of war and peacetime\, many face challenges integrating back into civilian life. Countless Veterans grapple with the burdens of PTSD\, social isolation\, and combat-related trauma\, navigating these obstacles alone can be overwhelming. \nThe Veterans Village is a nurturing environment where Veterans and compassionate supporters come together. As a united community\, we understand the struggles and are wholeheartedly devoted to uplifting our fellow brothers and sisters of service. We provide a dedicated space where all Veterans can find the support and community they need to flourish.
