The Historic Brookdale Lodge is excited to host our next “Pop the Cork & Paint” with local artist and instructor\, Sarah Orre on Saturday\, December 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. October’s theme: “Northern Cardinal.” \nThis popular event is held in the Brookdale Lounge. Doors open at 4:45 pm. \n$60 per ticket or two tickets for $99. Food is available at the Brookdale Cafe and Grill and drinks are available at the bar. \nNo paint experience necessary! Two painters per table\, open seating. Call if you have an odd number of people in your party and need a larger table reservation. \nFollowed by live music from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. \nMeet the Artist: \nSarah is a local artist and an art instructor. She grew up in the San Lorenzo Valley and lives in Ben Lomond with her husband and three girls. Sarah teaches Oil and Acrylic Painting\, Pastel Painting\, Expressive Watercolor and Ink\, and Spring Travel Sketching\, at the Santa Cruz Mountain Art Center. Her artwork is inspired by Santa Cruz Mountain landscapes and her adorable children.\nFrom the gorgeous California coast to the majestic redwood forests\, there is endless inspiration to draw upon. Sarah loves making custom artwork for friends and community members. She has a personal touch to her artwork that is both vibrant in color and expression.
