The current Rebelskamp line-up consists of the 3 Huelsenkamp brothers – Jesse aka Gee Willikers (vocals/guitar)\, Jeremiah Lee aka Verse (bass guitar/background vocals/etc)\, and Justin (synth/samples/effects)\, Juan Maserati (keys)\, and features Kenny Bundy (sax)\, and Phil Zigs of Relapse (lead guitar). \nStylistically\, their music has a genre of its own\, because of its fluid nature. The vibe is known to fluctuate from Funk to Psychedelic Rock to Blues\, and Soul\, and the players pull from elements of Hip-Hop\, Reggae Dub\, and Jazz\, managing to seamlessly blend moods\, influences\, and sounds into one. Rebelskamp is known to play off of the energy of the crowd\, while conjuring new culminations and creating a sound to suit the environment\, like chameleons of music. \nRebelskamp prides themselves on their impromptu and unwritten jam style\, the core basis of their spontaneous songwriting\, fueled by improvisation. Very much like Jazz players where one member starts a creative idea\, with no script\, the next one builds on that\, and thus\, songs are created out of thin air\, like magic\, without much discussion. The result is a beautiful\, timeless sonic landscape\, with a fresh vintage\, funky\, yet hard-hitting sound.
