We will teach you basic best practices for canning so you can get started on preserving your own harvests with this quick and simple recipe using hot water bath canning. This hands-on workshop will send you home with tips for safe and successful canning and recommended tools – and finished jam\, too! \nNew to waterbath canning? This workshop is for you! We will bring in the sweet garden tomato harvest and learn a simple canning process for Tomato Jam following USDA guidelines for safety. Suggested equipment and guidebooks will be discussed so you can start on your own canning journey with confidence! All participants will take home a jar or two of goodies from the workshop.
