DESCRIPTION:Spend the day in Big Basin viewing local art and making your own at Art in the Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday\, June 15! Celebrate the opening of the Big Basin Art About exhibit by exploring art pieces in various mediums inspired by artists’ experiences in the park. Join a nature journaling hike or check out the crafts table to awaken your creative side – no experience or art supplies are needed!To ensure access please park for free at the Scotts Valley Transit Center and take the Santa Cruz Metro Route 35B bus. The bus will be free and run every hour for the event\, and you can also ride the bus from any bus stop along the route. Parking at Big Basin will be limited and first come\, first served\, $10/space payable by credit card at the park. On-site parking may fill up.For more information\, contact BigBasin@ports-ca.us.
