All set in the beautiful redwoods of Ben Lomond.\n\nThe event starts at 11:00am on Thursday\, July 4th and will go through 3:00pm at the Sequoia Retreat Center\, about 1.5 miles up Alba Road from HWY 9. SUMMARY:Boulder Creek 4th of July Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Boulder Creek 4th of July Parade fills the streets of Historic Downtown Boulder Creek once again! This year 4th of July falls on a Thursday\, July 4\, 2024\, and the parade will happen from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Erin and Brian Valdivia from KBCZ 89.3 FM will emcee the event and Tina Davey will broadcast the parade procession live on KBCZ 89.3!\n\nGet to town early – not only to secure a good spot to view the parade but also to have breakfast at the BC Firehouse! They’ll be having their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser where you can have pancakes\, eggs\, sausages and more. You’ll need that delicious fuel to get through the day of celebration!\nDuring the parade and continuing until 2pm\, the community is invited to a vibrant community block party on Forest Street by the Odd Fellows building with local vendors and purveyors of tasty treats! At noon\, live music from Redwood Express will get your feet dancing! There will also be vendors and merchants setting up booths and sales along the highway just after the parade procession is done.\nBeginning at noon and going until 5pm\, the BCRPD will be hosting activities such as gold panning\, live music from Jake Nielsen & What’s Good\, and food vendors at Junction Park. This is a time honored tradition of fun!\n\nNote that Highway 9 in downtown Boulder Creek will be closed from Thursday morning at 9:30 until around noon. Detours will be in place to work around the closure. There is no parking allowed on Highway 9 from South Street to Middleton during the closure. Our firefighters will be serving up pancakes (original\, blueberry & chocolate chip)\, eggs\, sausage\, fruit\, coffee\, and juice. Listen for the fire station siren at 7:00 am. Come and get it!\n\nAll proceeds go towards the purchase of new rescue equipment and medical supplies.
