DESCRIPTION:The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced the band line-up for the Saturday\, July 13 NCBS Gathering Membership & Volunteer Party at Loch Lomond Recreation Area near Felton. The bands: \nThe Gilroy Drifters \nBrent Pierce & The Acid Grass Boys \nEric Burman & The Brookdale Bluegrass Band \nWine\, Women\, and Wrong \nJamming \nThe FREE all-day event will include food & drink\, friends\, fun\, and jamming. It is open to NCBS members and volunteers\, and also anyone interested in becoming a member or volunteer. The only cost is a per-car parking fee paid to the park. \nLoch Lomond interpretive tours on the “Newell Jewell” pontoon boat will be offered around the lake on Saturday\, July 13 from 11:00am-Noon. Tours can accommodate up to 25 people\, with sign-ups in the park store. First come\, first served. Tours are offered by the park free of charge.

Sadly\, time and fires have brought an end to this delightful retreat. This season\, we celebrate Boomeria at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Ben Lomond. The beautiful glass Phoenix window above the organ is a testament to Preston’s energy and generosity for so many years.
