DESCRIPTION:Mountain Music Productions and the Historic Brookdale Lodge welcome Santa Cruz Mountains favorite Vito and Friends on Friday\, September 8 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. \nVito Dettore and Keith Graves formed Vito and Friends over 15 years ago. The band originally started from the Eddy Kessler Big Hand Band in Illinois\, where Vito grew up. Vito’s dad played drums with Eddy and they toured the states. Vito started playing drums when he was 5\, but then turned to guitar. He is now an accomplished and well known San Lorenzo Valley blues guitarist. \nVito has a powerfully soulful voice that accompanies his electrifying guitar licks. Keith Graves\, a longtime collaborator and friend\, has toured with legendary 1960s musicians Jerry Miller\, Quicksilver Messenger Service\, Jefferson Starship and It’s A Beautiful Day. Eric Gunn\, an original member of Vito & Friends\, has played venues from San Diego to Honolulu. Frank G. Hatfield adds his own horn section style and licks on the harmonica.
