DESCRIPTION:The China Cats are the Bay Area’s longest running tribute to the Grateful Dead! Delighting audiences at festivals and venues around the state on a regular basis with improvisational spacey jams\, hard rocking renditions of you favorite Dead tunes\, and soul soothing ballads\, making each song their own while maintaining the integrity of this beloved genre. Santa Cruz is home to this exceptional band that has been performing together for more than 13 years. With over 200 songs in their repertoire the China Cats have something for everyone. Boogie down on the main floor of this historic hall (circa 1932) or find a perch above the crowd in the mezzanine and enjoy the show at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall in downtown Santa Cruz (across from the clock tower). \nA portion of the proceeds directly benefits our local veterans by helping to fund valuable services offered by the Veterans Hall. \nDoors at 7:00 show at 7:30 $20 advance $25 at the door. 18 and up. \nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/china-cats-summer-bash-tickets-671206014257
